Jordan Traas turned in a commanding performance at Kentucky Speedway on Friday night, taking his fifth win of the season in the Godsby ARCA Series. Starting sixth in the 17-car field, Traas worked his way to the front and led 73 of 110 laps in the No. 79, navigating a race that ran completely clean — zero cautions across the entire distance. Seven lead changes kept the running order unsettled through the middle portions of the race, but Traas ultimately had the strongest car when it counted most, holding off a late charge from Carlos Acosta in the No. 2.

Acosta, who started third and led 21 laps himself, crossed the line second for what would be his strongest result in the series to date — the No. 2 entry posted zero incidents across 110 laps and was genuinely in the fight for the win throughout the second half of the race. Judson Curtis rounded out the podium in the No. 29, advancing six positions from his ninth-place starting spot to finish third, though four incidents on his scorecard were a blemish on an otherwise impressive run. Pole sitter Brandon Hinton in the No. 5 led seven laps early before falling back to fifth at the finish, four spots behind where he started.

The hard charger award went to Jonathan Burt in the No. 11, who gained nine positions after starting 13th and crossed the stripe in fourth place. That result carries enormous weight in the standings — Burt now leads the points table with 415, a 43-point advantage over Traas at 372. Brian Sousa in the No. 60 sits third at 359 points, with John Crosby just three points further back at 356 in the No. 73 despite a rough night that saw him fall ten positions from his second-place starting spot to finish 12th. David Burcicki rounds out the top five in the standings at 331 points.

With 11 races still remaining in the Godsby ARCA Series season, Friday night's result reshuffles the competitive landscape significantly. Traas's win narrows the gap at the top, but Burt's consistent points haul in the No. 11 means he heads into the back half of the schedule with a cushion over a field where four drivers are separated by just 84 points. Crosby's difficult night at Kentucky could prove costly as the schedule tightens, while Sousa and Burcicki remain very much in the equation with enough runway ahead to make a move.
