Zachary Lovelace put the #00 machine in victory lane at Nashville Superspeedway on Wednesday night, taking his third win of the season in Round 7 of the RFRL Elite O'Reilly Series. Lovelace, who started from the pole, led 38 of the 110 laps in a race that saw 10 lead changes across 14 cars on a completely caution-free afternoon. David McConnell in the #54 crossed second after gaining one spot from his P3 starting position and leading 11 laps along the way. Judson Curtis brought the #29 home third, advancing four positions from his P7 start while leading 12 laps of his own — his second podium result of the season.
The lead changes were distributed across multiple drivers, with #71 Tommy Wynne leading the most laps of any non-winner at 21, and #11 Jonathan Burt adding 13 laps of his own before settling for seventh at the flag. Wynne's struggles late in the race were significant — the #71 dropped eight positions from his P2 starting spot to finish tenth, a brutal swing in a race where points are precious. #9 Tiyler Walts was the only driver inside the top ten to collect incidents, logging four on the night, which contributed to a three-position fall from P5 to P8. Ten of the fourteen drivers ran without a single incident across 110 laps of clean green-flag racing.
The story of the night from a performance standpoint belonged to #5 Brandon Hinton, who earned Hard Charger honors with a seven-position gain from P12 all the way to P5. Hinton never led a lap, but he navigated through traffic cleanly — finishing with zero incidents — to take 32 points on the evening. The move into the top five reflects the kind of consistency that builds championship equity over a long season. #68 Tom Ringer also deserves mention, advancing four spots from P10 to finish sixth with a clean sheet.
With 17 races still remaining, Lovelace's third win of the campaign has extended his points lead to 41 over second-place Jonathan Burt at 225. Judson Curtis moves to fourth at 208 with David McConnell sitting fifth at 190 — McConnell's first podium in the series keeps him within mathematical striking distance of the top. Tommy Wynne's difficult night drops him to third in points at 217, just eight back of Burt, meaning the battle for position behind Lovelace is extremely compressed heading into the second half of the season. The #00 team heads away from Nashville in a commanding spot, but with 17 rounds of racing left, nothing is settled in the Elite O'Reilly Series.
