Round 2 of the RFRL Pro Truck Season at EchoPark Speedway produced one of the more dramatic finishes the series has seen, with #73 John Crosby holding off a hard-charging #93 Colton Miller to claim his first win of the season. Crosby, who started from the pole, led 41 of 125 laps on the high banks of Atlanta, but it was far from a comfortable afternoon — 12 lead changes across a 125-lap race told the story of a fiercely contested event that was only decided in the closing stages. With just two cautions and six caution laps slowing the field, the race was largely a green-flag affair that rewarded consistency and race craft over pit strategy.

The performance of the night, however, belonged to Colton Miller in the #93 truck. Starting 15th, Miller carved his way through the 20-car field to finish second, gaining 13 positions and earning Hard Charger honors. Miller actually led 42 laps — more than the race winner — and ran clean with zero incidents across 125 laps, a remarkable effort from deep in the field. That Miller ultimately ran out of real estate in his pursuit of Crosby made it one of the more agonizing P2 finishes Atlanta has produced in recent league racing memory.

Robert Walton's #57 rounded out the podium in third, having started fifth and led four laps during his stint at the front. Anthony Hardin in the #77 was the day's quiet mover in championship terms, advancing eight spots from 12th to finish fourth. #5 Brandon Hinton, who qualified third, was shuffled back two positions to fifth at the flag. Of the 20 starters, seven drivers completed the race without a single incident, a stat that speaks to the controlled aggression required around Atlanta's demanding, high-speed layout. At the back end of the results, #6 Victor Etheridge was the day's roughest ride with 13 incidents recorded en route to a P18 finish.

With 18 races still remaining on the schedule, the standings after Atlanta show Anthony Hardin sitting atop the points table with 71 points, four ahead of Robert Walton at 67. Brian Sousa's strong P8 run from 19th on the grid put him in third at 64 points, with race winner John Crosby slotting into fourth at 62 — level with Shaun Dionne in fifth. Crosby's win does not yet reflect in the standings as a dominant points haul, but the momentum of a victory — and a clean, zero-incident afternoon — gives the #73 camp reason for confidence heading into Round 3.
